چکیده
Migration and its crises constitute an insistent theme in Kazuo Ishiguro’s fiction, where – as real recent history the politics of migration have a dangerously close relationship with conspiracy narratives. At heart such narratives lies fetishised ideal organic, original home “homeland”: conspiracist paranoia is bound up desire for epistemological security, responding to traumatic rifts that migrations expose world torn between resurgent nationalisms fraught globalisations. This essay explores how characters register series psycho-cultural functions theory are fundamental modern contemporary crises, their causes, brutal consequences. I argue interrogation his own protagonists’ alongside international crisis, novels including A Pale View Hills, The Remains Day, When We Were Orphans, forms subtle intervention against power conspiricist thought.
